Faith is the anchor that holds families together, through tragedy and triumph, and in no other city is this more obvious than in the Motor City. As an automotive boomtown, Detroit drew immigrants from nearly every country on earth, and along with their brains and brawn, they brought their religion.
In our second installment into Detroit’s religious history, Detroit: The City of Faith, we will explore the many ways that religion laid the bedrock of Detroit’s unique cultural diversity and how belief has shaped us as a people and linked us as a city.
